Europe Day is commemorated on May 9th every year to celebrate peace and unity in Europe. The EU and ESC share common values in bringing people and countries together and celebrating the cultural diversity among them, always with respect for freedom, democracy, equality, and human rights.

Visitors of all ages and from all countries and backgrounds are welcome to the EU booth to discuss the EU's goals and values as well as share their vision for the future of Europe. Moreover, they learn how to use the services from the local Europe Direct offices to get information about the EU and about one's rights as an EU citizen, for example, when working, traveling, studying, or participating in the democratic life in the EU.

At the EU booth, various Eurovision activities are organized, such as quizzes, interviews, photo booths, and video compilations, highlighting specific moments from ESC's history that promote European cohesion, cultural and linguistic diversity, as well as solidarity among the nations in post-war Europe.

Whether one is an ESC fan or not, all visitors are welcome to test their knowledge about ESC's history from the perspectives of EU countries and EU languages!
