Hur låter Kulturljudzonen? Vem bullrar, vem tystnar, vem lyssnar? I Malmö etablerades Sveriges första kulturljudzon 2021. 4 år senare vad har hänt? Kom lyssna på ljud, buller och röster från området.
In 2021 the municipality of Malmö declared a part of the Sofielund industrial area a Culture Sound Zone. Initiated in response to the concerns of factory owners, music venues and cultural associations operating around Norra Grängesbergsgatan the Culture Sound Zone ends residential property development until 2040 allowing both industry and culture to make more noise than would be allowed elsewhere in the city.
Reflecting on the first four years of this innovative urban development initiative this panel asks; “What is the sound of the culture sound zone?” Using material generated during the first year of a three year collaboration between the NGBG association and Malmö University, including the podcast LISTEN! – HÖR UPP! (https://shows.acast.com/listen-up-hor-upp) we will encourage invited guests and audience members to reflect on the possibilities and limitations of the Kulturljudzon as a project for sustainable urban development.
Under 2025 aktiverar Malmö Konstmuseum Kungsparken. Samtidigt som konstmuseet på Slottsholmen har öppet som vanligt utforskas Kungsparken som en möjlig plats för ett framtida konstmuseum.
