From the Central station, Stortorget or Gustav Adolfs torg: approximately 15 minute walk through the district "Gamla väster" (Old West) and Slottsparken.
Bus no. 3, 7 or 8 to bus stop "Tekniska museet" and then a five minute walk to the castle islet Malmöhus. For bus schedules and more information contact Skånetrafiken.
There is a large car park opposite the museum.
Trains from central Copenhagen leave every 20 minutes. It takes about 30 minutes to the Central station in Malmö and from the train station it's a 15 minute walk to the museum.

Lifts/elevators provide access to all levels except one part of the main stairs.

Public tours (in Swedish) of the current exhibition in the Main Art Gallery are held every Sunday at 2 pm.
