Source Code Management
If you develop a custom application or a system for The City of Malmö, and nothing else is agreed in the contract, you must use our Subversion (SVN) repository for source code management. Contact the Central Web Group for instructions.
Compiled library code–regardless if it is open source or proprietary–that is not developed with the solution but used by it must also be checked in to the SVN repository in its compiled form. Full build routines must also be part of the committed source code. If the solution has automated unit tests, those must be checked in as well.
For minor solutions such as rich media production, it might be more efficient that you manage the source code in your own system during development and hand it over to the Central Web Group at the time of delivery.
