Biogas and blue growth innovation in Skåne

BIOGASSYS and BUCEFALOS arranged their joint final conferences with over 100 delegates from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy and Poland. Sustainable food in Malmö

The city of Malmö has established some very ambitious targets concerning the environment and sustainability for the next 10-15 years. 100% of the food purchased in the City of Malmö should be organic by 2020. This is stated in Malmö's Policy for sustainable development and food, approved by the city council in 2010.

Malmö's aim for 100% renewables

In conjunction with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), ICLEI World Secretariat is compiling case studies on topics related to renewable energy in cities. One of the themes is ambitious target settings by municipalities, with goals for 100% renewables, and particularly how the municipality is going about this in its master plan or other policies.
