The research is clear and the industry agrees - the food system needs to be transformed to become sustainable for both humans and the environment. In November 2023, Malmö City, together with EY Doberman and Innovation Skåne, became one of eight national innovation platforms that will contribute to the transformation of the food system.

This is how the investment contributes to the business community

Innovationsplattform Stad gathers and synchronizes a wide range of actors from the business community around the mission. Companies and organizations that can drive development within food will be involved in a number of initiatives, including system mapping, idea generation and prototyping for future innovative solutions.

How is Malmö City working with the investment?

• Malmö stad är inititativtagare till innovationsplattformen och
  driver arbetet tillsammans med Innovation i Skåne och EY Doberman.
• Projektet startades upp i november 2023.
