Now it's official! Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman are hosting Eurovision

A Hollywood star and Eurovision veteran host the world's biggest entertainment show in May. Malin Åkerman and Petra Mede join each other and the audience during the three TV broadcasts of the Eurovision Song Contest, live from Malmö on May 7, 9, and 11.

It is the first time that Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman are working together, and they are both looking forward to the collaboration.

Petra Mede hosted the Eurovision Song Contest the last time it was in Malmö in 2013, a role for which she received international acclaim. In 2016, she was entrusted with the responsibility again during the event in Stockholm, co-hosting with Måns Zelmerlöw.

Malin Åkerman has a solid background in stage and film, but for her, the Eurovision Song Contest is a new arena.

– Malin Åkerman and Petra Mede in combination are nothing short of an absolute dream duo. Malin, a wonderful personality and one of our most talented actors in Hollywood. Petra, an icon in the Eurovision context, who has also been voted the best Eurovision host ever.
