Travel to Malmö
Malmö is located in the southern part of Sweden and is close to Copenhagen, Denmark with just the Öresund bridge in-between. There are railway connections from all of Europe. Traveling by train to Malmö typically takes around 4-5 hours from Stockholm, 5-6 hours from Hamburg and 13 hours from Paris.
If you come here by plane, please consider climate compensating for your flight. It is very easy to catch the train from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö. The train ride takes approximately twenty minutes.
Destination is Malmö Central Station. National train is operated by the railway company SJ, and tickets can be purchased from SJ. Local trains, including trains to and from Copenhagen International Airport, are operated by Skånetrafiken where tickets also can be purchased.

Getting around in Malmö
Once you get to Malmö you will find that everything you might need is within walking distance. Public transportation and rental bikes are also available if you would like to explore Malmö.
By bike
Everything is close at hand in Malmö. There are around 1,000 bikes for rent in the city, spread out at 100 different stations.
By train or bus
The best way to get to the Arena from Malmö’s city center is to take a local underground train from either Triangeln Station or Malmö Central Station and arrive within 5-10 minutes at Hyllie Station. You could also go by bus. Local trains and buses are operated by Skånetrafiken.
Hotels and hostels
Central Malmö offers a variety of hotels and hostels within walking distance from all the Eurovision celebrations. When looking for a hotel or hostel, make sure to choose one with high sustainability ambitions, if possible. Look for the common Swedish eco-labels Svanen and Green key.
Don't forget your water bottle
The Swedish tap water is famously tasty, so bring your water bottle and fill it up at the venues!
