Practical information
Port and dock information.
Malmö is where Sweden begins. It’s the small fishing village that turned into an industrial hub that turned into a young and international city of experiences.
Someone once said Malmö is "too small to be big and too big to be small". For a cruise destination, that’s simply perfect! The compact city centre not only offers a pleasant atmosphere, it also makes it possible to experience the whole city in one day.
The cruise port is located close to Malmö’s many shops, restaurants and attractions, and symbols on the ground lead the way from the harbor to the central station. Almost everything is within walking distance in Malmö. Your guests will visit a city with a wonderful atmosphere and have a pleasant experience.
Sweden's third largest city is also its youngest and most international. Half of its residents are younger than 35 and about 150 languages buzz in the air, literally a global smorgasbord. Make a visit to the new food market (Malmö Saluhall) to try global and local flavors. It’s located between downtown and the renowned Western Harbour eco-district.
Tired of walking? Do like the locals – bike your way around town! Malmö is one of the world's top 10 bike cities and rental bike stations are everywhere. Welcome to Malmö!
Malmö port can handle cruises up to 240 m. 240-290 m possible but evaluation is needed.
More information about the port and contact information is available on CMP website:
