Student Welfare Team (SWT)

Within our student welfare team we offer support from the school nurse, the PYP and MYP welfare counsellors, the school psychologist, the learning support coordinator and PYP and MYP learning support staff. The school principal and the PYP, ASC and MYP coordinators complete the team.

At MIS we encourage individuality and embrace every student’s uniqueness and autonomy. We respect differences and welcome diversity in our students.

We work with a range of positive strategies to deal with any kind of discrimination and provide a skilled and knowledgeable anti-bullying team to ensure we create surroundings in which every student feels safe, secure and valued.

In addition to this, our study and careers counsellor is available to support students in making important decisions about their future.
