Accessibility

A city's public spaces – its parks, squares and streets – are for everyone. Regardless of who is in the space, it should be perceived as safe and accessible. It is important to us at the City of Malmö that the events taking place in connection with the city's hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest are accessible to everyone.

We will help you navigate the crowds at our three hubs Malmö Live, Eurovision Village and Hyllie. Among other things, kerbs are being levelled with asphalt at the large audience areas and electricity cables are being laid in the air instead of along the ground. This will allow you to plan your visit a little more carefully.

General information

The transport service stops at the following locations:

  • Malmö Live: Dag Hammarskjölds torg
  • Eurovision Village: Barkgatan, Helsingborgsgatan, Kristianstadsgatan
  • Eurovision Street: Bergsgatan, Norra Skolgatan
  • Malmö C: Glashallen, Taxi station

We intend to replace parking spaces that are removed in connection with the event with other spaces nearby.

In the Eurovision Village at the Euphoria Stage, there is a ramp for those who want to get up a bit above the crowd.

RWC are available at the following locations:

  • Eurovision Village
  • Malmö Live concert hall
  • Hyllie

There is a bag ban inside Malmö Arena, at Malmö Live and in Eurovision Village. People who need to bring a bag for medical reasons may do so. Bags that are allowed must be checked by security staff at the entrances before entry.

We require food vendors operating in the event area to be able to report what the food contains, ask the respective vendor for more information.
