Meeting places and Fun Zone
The City of Malmö will arrange meeting places and a Fun Zone where children and youths can take part of the championship and its values, without having to buy a ticket.
The meeting places should spark interest and encourage children and youth to take part in the togetherness and the festivities around the championship. They are for everybody and will be free of charge. The most activities will be at the Fun Zone we will arrange at Emporia during the Championship.

Welcome to play video games, step into our photo world, practise your handball trows or do crafts.
In the build up to the Handball World Championship 2023, the City of Malmö will arrange pop-up expos at places with lots of children and youths in motion. By highlighting a world championship with all that comes with it; festivities, togetherness and role models, we want to attract more people towards the sport and to a meaningful leisure time. Keep an eye on our channels to know when and where they will show up. The different meeting places are part of a whole that we call Lilla VM, (The Small World Championship).
