FAQ before a field trip
Here you will find the answer to most questions that can arise before a visit. You are also welcome to contact us with your enquiries.
When can we visit Malmö?
Since there is a lot of interest for visits to our activities, we need to have your request at least 8 weeks in advance. We receive technical visit groups as time permits. April - June and September - November are our peak seasons.
Does it cost something to go on a technical visit?
The visits cost from 3 000 SEK per visit to 10 000 SEK for a whole day, depending on who meets the group and the length of the visit, VAT of 25 % not included. You will get a price list sent to you after you have made a booking request.
Does Malmö City arrange transport?
No - we do not arrange transport. You have to book this on your own.
What do we do if we get hungry?
You pay for your own meals and refreshments in conjunction with your technical visit.
What should one bring to wear if one is going on an outdoor tour?
If you are going to visit the Western Harbour, Hyllie, Sege Park or Sorgenfri or will be otherwise outdoors, it is important that you have good shoes and warm clothes. Even if the spring comes early to Malmö the seaside location also means that the wind is often blowing.
What happens if we have to cancel a planned visit?
Cancellations must be made at least four days before the technical visit would have taken place, otherwise you will be billed the full amount. The same applies for groups of visitors who do not show up. Please note that our partners have their own booking conditions. After a completed technical visit, no costs are repaid.
