International schools

Malmö has two compulsory schools and two upper secondary schools where the language of instruction is English. Malmö International School and the Malmö Borgar School are free of charge as they are municipality schools. Bladins International school is a fee charging private school

Municipal schools

Malmö International School

Malmö International School (MIS) adheres to the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes of study: PYP and MYP.

The IB Learner Profile is the core of both programmes. Both programmes, PYP and MYP, are authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization and Malmö International School is officially an IB World School for students aged 5-16.

After school care is available up to the age of 12.

Malmö Borgarskola  

Malmö Borgarskola is an upper secondary school in which around 230 pupils study for the comprehensive IB Diploma, i.e. the curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Malmö Borgarskola encourages a preparatory year called PRIB. The tuition is free of charge.

Independant schools

Bladin's International School - The Compulsory School

The compulsory school at Bladin's International School has approximately 245 students aged 3 to 16. The International School follows the curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and charges a tuition fee.

Bladin's International School - The Upper Secondary School

Bladin's upper secondary school follows the Swedish National Curriculum. The Social Science Programme is, in fact, an English-taught version of the Swedish ‘Samhällsvetenskapsprogrammet´. There is no tuition fee for the Upper Secondary School's classes.
