• Form/Design Center, since 1964 the foremost meeting place for architecture, design and crafts in southern Sweden. In 2018 appointed by the government as a national node for designed habitats.
  
• Malmö University, offers bachelor's and master's programs as well as research in the field of design.
• Southern Sweden Design Days, a new annual international design festival highlighting all parts of the industry, attracting >30,000 visits to Lokstallarna and 60+ places in the city.
