"I feel normal"

- I know I look a little different. You do when you have Down syndrome. You have different eyes, a larger space between the toes and just one line across the palm instead of two. But I feel normal.

- When I was little I wanted to be an actor and work as an actor. If there is something you really want, you have to go for it. When I had just started at Moomsteatern, I was so nervous that I got a headache.

- I did my internship during the run of The Ringer of Notre Dame. Then I graduated in 2015 and got a job in the permanent ensemble at Moomsteatern. I’ve been in several performances such as Power (Makt), The Tempest, The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser, and A Dream Play.

- I find it easy to learn a text. When I receive a script for a play, I read it twice and then I usually know it. You can still be a little insecure anyway, but I have the world's best colleagues and supervisors who help me if that happens.

- It's good to be a little nervous and a little jittery before you go on stage, but you have to stay focused. If I make the audience laugh or happy, I'm happy. I want to do something that the audience likes. I feel that it develops me to be on stage.

- When we did Power, we got to speak on stage about our dreams. And that was probably the most fun. I played both Cinderella and the evil stepmother. I loved playing the stepmother, she's so tough. But Cinderella is still the best. I sang “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes”. It’s such a beautiful and nice song.

- I want to continue working as an actor. My dream roles are Cinderella, Snow White, and Rose in Titanic. If I were to play Rose, I’d like to sing “My Heart Will Go On” as well, like Celine Dion sang for the movie.

- There is nothing I would want to change. I have my own apartment that I feel great in. There, I can be myself and have my own life.
