MalmoCopenhagen
The Municipal Økonomiudvalget in Copenhagen meet with Malmö once a year to discuss common issues of the future. On the official level there are regular meetings taking place between municipal leaders at the city office and the budgetary and financial management. In Malmö's various departments there are established contacts with the corresponding officials in Copenhagen and a number of joint cooperation projects are carried out.

Cooperation projects have often been implemented in conjunction with other local and regional stakeholders, with the support of the European Structural Funds (Interreg funds).
